Phab Entertainment is the brain child of Joab Mugugu and Phil Wakabikwa (hence the name PH(PH in phil) and AB (AB in joab). Phab started in 2004 with club gigs and dj promotions. Alick Macheso, well renowned Zimbabwean based Sungura musician was the first international artist we brought to the United Kingdom. Although this was not his first visit to the UK, this was his first UK tour, with shows in London, Leicestershire and Leeds, hence travelling from one end of the country to another. After the success of this first UK tour, Phab then went on to become Alick Macheso's sole UK agent meaning an agreed show in the UK every six months. The success of this relationship with Macheso and his Orchestra Mberikawazo, lead to a combined show in 2006 with South African band Trompies. This show attracted revellers from a wide variety of Southern African countries and was dubbed by press as 'The Battle of the Bands'.
